Hematologist-Oncologist Questions Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Is non-Hodgkin's lymphoma common in childhood?

My friend's daughter is only 10 years old and she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I always thought that this form of lymphoma only developed in adults. How common is it during childhood?
