Family Practitioner Questions Diarrhea

What are the main triggers of frequent diarrhea?

It seems every time I have to use the restroom, I am having diarrhea. I eat pretty healthy, and stay away from sugars and caffeine. What can be causing my frequent diarrhea?

Could be dairy products or nerves (anxiety).
Medications, supplements, medical conditions, and food intolerances can cause diarrhea. A common culprit is dairy, in which case taking a digestive enzyme with lactase or preferably avoiding dairy could reduce your symptoms. However, you should see your primary care provider for an evaluation.
