My grandson has welts on his face as a possible allergic reaction to Clearasil pads. What should he do? Why did this happen?

He may have an allergic reaction to the products in it - like Benzoyl Peroxide - stop the medication and visit your local dermatologist and discuss your options and diagnosis.
He could have a salicylate/aspirin allergy if it is true urticaria (hives/welts) since Clearasil contains salicylic acid and he should avoid it. If acne is an issue see a board certified dermatologist for further treatment.
