Family Practitioner Questions Abdominal Pain

My stomach seems extremely hard. What could it be?

Just around my belly button, I can feel something hard inside my stomach which also hurts when I touch it. It's a dull, full-feeling pain, nothing sharp. What could this be?

Hi
I hope you have taken your self to see your doctor. That would be appropriate. A diagnosis cannot be entertained by email or texting..

Could be a hernia, but without physical exam hard to tell. Would recommend seeing your PCP or go to ER if it worsens as it could be a sign of something worse.

It could be a number of things but without a physical exam and possible imaging, it would be virtually impossible to diagnose. Its probably best to get it checked out instead of having someone guess you to a diagnosis. Lots going on in the abdominal cavity. Sorry.

Please head straight to your nearest ER/ hospital to get seen and rule out appendicitis or any other acute serious problem.

Two things come to mind. You could be just feeling stool in your colon, which could be painful to the touch if compacted (i.e., constipation). Or you could palpating a hernia, esp. if its around the belly button.
Need exam.
The list is too long to cover here. Common things being common, could be a hernia. My advice: see a good primary care doctor.
