Post-inflammatory can take many months to fade. High SPF UVA/UBB ALL YEAR ROUND LIGHT OFFIVE PEELS.
The redness will go away on its own. Vascular lasers can be done cosmetically to expedite it.
Unfortunately, there is no miracle cure and nothing is fast. Most important is to wear sunblock for the dark marks protection. You can have laser and chemical peels to help.

The best treatment is time and keeping them out of the sun.
Hi,

These red pimple marks are called post-inflammatory erythema. They will gradually fade over time. Make sure to use sunscreen daily. Also, a topical prescription regimen to control the acne and the inflammation in the skin will be helpful. You can also add vitamin C/E to your daily skincare regimen. Please see your board-certified dermatologist for evaluation and for a treatment plan.

Dear 17-year-old,

If it's a "pimple" and it's been there for that long and is pink/red, I would suggest you see a dermatologist. Telemedicine is available and in-office in some areas. It could be a scar now or not a pimple at all. Please go to find a dermatologist at AAD.org to find a Board certified dermatologist near you.
