Urologist Questions Urinalysis (Urine Test)

What could be the reason behind my pain during urination?

Everytime I pass urine, I have a sharp pain. I am a 24 year old man and my blood as well as urine reports have all shown normal results. Could you suggest the possible reasons behind this pain?

There are several reasons that could cause this. These include: a sexually transmitted disease, urethral stricture, spicy foods, coffee, etc. It would be best to see your urologist to have a full evaluation.
I would ask your doctor about the possibilities of either prostatitis or interstitial cystitis. These are two conditions which might have a normal urine but still result in painful urination. Although interstitial cystitis is most often diagnosed in women, it is fairly prevalent in the male population.
Urethral calibration is needed, especially if the patient is female.
Pain during urination or dysuria could be from urethritis, cystitis, urethral stricture, prostatitis, urinary stones, bowel problems, and so on. Have your doctor rule them out.
