Pain Medicine | Pain Medicine Questions Breast Augmentation

What can I do to help my recovery from an augmentation?

I'm going to have a breast augmentation in the next couple of weeks, but I don't want to take opioids to help me manage the pain. Are there other things I can do to help manage the recovery?

Smaller implants, local anesthetic pump, good surgeon, NSAIDS, CBD oil, gabapentin.

Believe it or not, Ibuprofen 800mg three times daily around the clock should help. You'll likely be in some discomfort for a few days. Don't forget that the power of the mind/meditation can significantly reduce your pain as your body has an endogenous opiate system to control pain.

Hope this helps!
