What does it mean to have two periods in one month?

I am a 33 year old female. I want to know what does it mean to have two periods in one month?

It’s dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
it may be isolated event that may have no significance. However if persistent and becomes a pattern, then more physiologic changes may be implicated and may require further enquiry. It may be hormonal changes, endometrium and uterine structural changes.
A thorough history and examination required to find the underlying cause
Could be stress or hormonal imbalance, if this continues please see your OBGyn.

That can happen. Women not on birth control can have 1-2 abnormal cycle per year. You could skip a cycle or have an extra cycle. Sometimes it could be related to an early pregnancy, thyroid issue, polyp, etc.
