What happens if you are given too much dental anesthesia?

I am a 30 year old male. I will be getting dental anesthesia for a root canal. What happens if you are given too much dental anesthesia?

The space is so small, it is impossible to give too much. It may, inadvertently, get directly into the blood stream . That is a different story.
You will be numb for 3-5 hours or more.
You could have toxicity reactions, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, seizures, coma, or death.
