Sleep Medicine Specialist Questions Snoring

What makes people snore?

I'm only 27, and I have a snoring problem. My girlfriend pointed out to me a few weeks ago. I'm not sure why it's happening. I'm not really overweight or anything. What usually makes people snore?

Probably Adenoids, or deviated septum nose.
If you have symptoms of tiredness, wakening up several times at night or sleepiness during the day you could have sleep apnea. There is also habitual snoring which could be related to the vibration of the soft tissue in the back of your mouth like Uveula
If you fall asleep on your back, the tongue and uvula fall back and cause snoring. Roll over onto your side and that might help.
