It is hard to say without seeing your daughter. Most commonly chest pain is not cardiac related in children. Usually it is musculoskeletal, but cardiac concerns should be ruled out by your primary care provider or by a pediatric cardiologist. Palpitations are often the same. It is often no significant concern, but should also be addressed by your primary care doctor or a cardiologist. This can evaluated with an exam, and EKG and sometimes a long term monitor.
