Will a brow lift make my forehead smaller?

You can have a brow lift and make your forehead smaller. It involves first shaping and positioning your brows which is cosmetically pleasing. A nice feminine arch needs to be planned and not too far above the orbital bone. What is mostly done is a brow not too high but with a feminine curve. Strong impressive women don't want high arched brows and not hollowed out orbital sulcus. If you have a high forehead, this can be corrected by lowering your hairline to artistically give you proper facial proportion (originally outline by DeVinci). Forehead lines can be also treated but at your age, it may not be an issue, An uneven but artistically made resection of skin can be made lowering your hairline for facial proportion. It is along the hair roots so that hair hides any scar and even grows through the scar making this imperceptible. Shaping, lifting to proper location and modifying the forehead can be done with no noticeable scar.
Brow lifts by themselves don't make your forehead smaller. However, it can be combined with a hairline advancement procedure which can decrease the size of the forehead.
Great question. The technique is important as some techniques commonly advertised can often make the forehead look higher! Our "dual plane brow-lift" technique will lower the hairline as it elevates the brow, producing a well-balanced, more youthful and appealing look. Brow lifts usually make the brow larger in length. However, it would be necessary to at least see a picture. If the brow is simply excised it can make it smaller. Talk to your doctor on his plan.
