In the study on exercise and breast cancer, conducted by the University of Copenhagen, it was determined that “exercise increases NK cell infiltration, thereby controlling tumor growth.”
Also, that “exercise-induced muscle-derived IL-6 is involved in NK cell redistribution.”
IL-6 is a protein “important for controlling breast cancer cell growth, metastasis, and self-renewal of cancer stem cells.” (Dethlefsen C1, Højfeldt G, Hojman P; 2013)
