    Hi, So we usually don’t separate parents from kids in those situations. Child has already been exposed before your test turned out to be positive. Do your best to wash hands and maybe wear a mask at home but at this point, separation from a child would not make any difference.     Hi, we typically don’t test newborns this early for allergies. We assume they may have milk protein allergy if they have eczema, fussiness with feeds and blood in stool. We usually test a little later about 6 months of age since they are requiring venous blood draw and it’s quite difficult at their age to obtain one at the laboratory.
