A Georgia-based Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Sapp is an Owner, the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer at Georgia Pro Sports Ventures, LLC dba Macon Mayhem Ice Hockey Club. He is also the Medical Director of Ageless Athletes Rx., a Biohacking Medical Facility.
A 1985 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Sapp went on to perform his residency in General Surgery at Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center/Mercer University School of Medicine from 1985-1989. He then furthered his training with an additional residency in Plastic Surgery at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine from 1989-1991, followed by a fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of Florida from 1991-1992.
With expertise in a wide variety of advanced techniques and procedures, Dr. Sapp is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery and Surgery of the Hand by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious Plastic Surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
On a professional level, Dr. Sapp is a life member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Now retired from the active practice of Hand Surgery, he continues to care for his professional ice hockey team players in the Southern Professional Hockey League. More recently, he is practicing preventative medicine with Ageless Athletes Rx.
