Inflammatory breast cancer?
Inflammatory breast cancer can either start as a ductal or a lobular breast cancer. It starts with an a breast cancer metastasized to the lymph nodes. The lymph nodes then get blocked with tumor. Following this the natural fluid that can build up in the breast and normally be filtered by the lymph nodes builds up in the breast. The breast then becomes red and the lymphatics in the breast become filled with cancer cells. It does not necessarily start as Ductal carcinoma in situ. READ MORE

What is the lump in my breast
Go see your Gyn or family practice doctor who will order a mammogram and ultrasound diagnostic testing. It could be a cyst, which is most likely, but it also could be something worse like a cancer. READ MORE
How do chemotherapy and radiation differ?
Chemotherapy goes into the bloodstream and kills cancer cells in the bloodstream and in the mass. It can make you lose your hair and feel ill. The radiation is a local therapy similar to the sun which kills tumor cells more locally. READ MORE
How long do side effects typically last with chemotherapy?
Nausea/vomiting is rare. Numbness In feet and hands can occur with taxol, but improves over time but may be permanent. Hair starts growing back about a month after last chemo. Mostly tire about 2-3 days after each dose. Trouble multitasking may last. READ MORE
