Does radiation make you less hungry?

I am a 50 year old female and I will have radiation therapy. Does radiation make you less hungry?

It can decrease appetite, especially if the patient receives treatment to the stomach or abdomen.
Radiation for breast cancer typically does not reduce the appetite. But if the radiation is aimed at the abdomen, throat, brain or esophagus - patients often lose their appetites.
