The 30-Day Weight Loss Challenge That Actually Works

Day 7: Start counting your steps

Harvard Medical School claims that "walking is the simplest form of exercise." So, it's important to get a daily dose. Especially since researchers claim that as adults, we should have at least two and a half hours of moderate exercise, and we should be walking at a pace of 3 mph. But, because most of us are sedentary, we need some motivation. So, find a tool you can use to count the amount of steps you take per day. The average person should get approximately 8,000 to 10,000 steps per day, which seems like a lot, but we know you can do it! A pedometer, a fitbit, or even an app on your phone can keep track of the steps you take per day.
