Tuning Out at Bedtime
Guarding the night time routine becomes a vital task when dealing with fatigue during the day. Getting enough sleep at night enables the mind and body to recharge which is so important when managing a chronic condition. So some tips to getting a good night’s sleep are:
- Wearing earplugs, when necessary
- Wearing an eye-mask
- Turning off all electronic devices, including the T.V. at least 30 minutes before going to bed
- Stretching, meditating, and doing some deep breathing in order to let go of any tension built up during the day
While these practices might not put a complete end to the fatigue, they can make management of this symptom a little easier.
