How Diabetic Patients Can Add Strength to Their Daily Routine
Make sure to rest between each set
Low-intensity exercise involves two or three sets of 15 repetitions or reps with easier or lower weights. Average force involves up to three sets of 9 to 12 reps with weights that are a bit heavier. Always make sure you work in a couple of minutes of rest between each set.
Workouts should last a minimum of 20 minutes and a maximum of 60 minutes per training with weights.
Consistency is the key when exercising. Strength training will help you stay engaged in an exercise program and might be an easy way for you to add interest and variety to your normal exercise routines.
