“Allergies?”
I am a 53 year old female and have been invited to have the Covid-19 vaccine. My mother was anti-vaccine on religious grounds, so I didn't have any childhood vaccines. As an adult, I've had two vaccines, tetanus, which resulted in anaphylaxis, and Hep B which resulted in urticaria. I am also allergic to aspirin and anti-inflammatory medication. Would it be wise for me to take a risk with the Covid-19 vaccine?

Thanks for your question. The CDC does not recommend vaccinating anyone with severe allergic reactions to other vaccines. Check with your doctor as well.
I can understand why you might be concerned, but I think health and well being would be better served by the COVID19 vaccine than catching the disease.
That said, I advise you to be vaccinated at a facility that has back up should you have a reaction and any reaction can be properly treated

I strongly advise with your history to have a formal visit with an allergist who can assess your risk and determine the right course of action for you. This is the not the right forum to discuss your medical history in detail.
Yes. Vaccination centers usually have physicians who can take care of patients like you.
