Every patient response to the implant surgery somewhat differently!If you have ONE OR TWO implant(s) placement, it is not very painful. Under normal circumstance, the surgical site will be sore for a couple of days from the incision and sutures. You shall be able to talk on the same day of the implant surgery. Most of time, the over the counter pain medication such as Ibuprofen, Advil and Tylenol will be enough to control the discomfort.However, if you are going to have multiple tooth extraction, bone grafting and multiple implants placement all performed at the same visit, you will have more and longer duration of pain, which will affect your talk.
