ADHD cannot be cured but it can be managed to the point where it is not problematic. I encourage you to work with your mental health professional to find the best coping skills for you.
Improves very much with meds , psycho pharmacotherapy
No, I am not aware of a cure. ADHD or ADD can effectively managed with the "correct" medication. I say "correct" because they are two independent/separate diagnosis (there are a few common symptoms BUT the symptoms that are different will react differently to the prescribed medication. For instance, if your son is ADD (without hyperactivity and impulsivity) and prescribed medication (Ritilan) for ADHD, more likely than not he will begin to exhibit symptoms of hyperactivity and impulsivity in addition to his inattentiveness. Good Luck.
ADHD is primarily a congenital condition involving concentrations of dopamine and other neurotransmitters and the brains inability to process information. It can be controlled with medication or some other neuromodulation technique.
ADHD is not something that can be "cured" but you can better organize yourself such as using a planner, setting alarms, and writing down tasks. Also, focusing on reducing anxiety will also assist with focus so meditation is key.
No. You can be educated to deal with it. This condition have been investigated for decades showing that is more frecuent in males than in females. Go ahead for profesional treatment.
There is no known cure for ADHD but it can be managed
This is a really loaded question because I always suggest a second opinion regarding any diagnosis that’s going to effect a child’s self-image, personal interactions, academics and responses of his community. Additionally, each case is unique and there are usually symptoms associated with each unique individual child. This is more of an in person conversation about your specific teen’s symptom presentation.
