Chiropractic can help with a spinal sports injury. Consult, exam and xrays would be recommended first.
YES YES YES,… chiropractors look for the underlying bio, mechanical distortion that’s causing the problem so as you play sports enthusiastically, unknowingly, you may be causing more damage or set yourself up for compensation to your surrounding structures, or putting the other parts of your body at risk. Consulting with corrective care, chiropractor or sports medicine chiropractor helps you align your training program to your end goal whether you want to increase your performance, speed, or reduce fatiguability or chances of injury for more information you can find me on Instagram @DRRominaG

Oh, by the way, if you want to initiate Support, try using the full upper body lower body correction at leisure from bax-u.com, proven studies that by aligning, the bio Attn bands, you increase athletic performance.
Yes, chiropractic can heal pretty much any musculoskeletal injury

Chiropractic is a good, safe adjunct to a goal-directed strengthening program with a good physical therapist in the healing of a back sports injury as long as the adjustments are not “aggressive.” Of course, it is also necessary to determine the tissues affected which could include, but are not limited to, muscles, ligament, the actual bony spine, and the nerves associated with the spinal cord and nerves coming out of the spine. I would avoid chiropractic care initially if the bones were involved.
Yes chiropractors can help heal sports injuries if they are not torn or fractured.
A chiropractic adjustment can play a role in facilitating the body healing itself but I think it is best accompanied with other modalities to address the root cause of dysfunction.
Chiropractic in its essence cannot heal anything. Nor can any other medicine. What we do as chiropractors is remove obstacles so that your body can heal the way it was designed to do. We help it out by making sure the joints and muscles and other soft tissue around the region of the injury are first and foremost not continuing to be damaged or in danger of being damaged. Which is why some times patients are instructed to wear a boot for an ankle sprain. We then treat the area to get you out of pain, and once out of pain we rehab the injury so that you become more resilient to that injury. This involves a lot of soft tissue, and rehab (which looks a lot like physical therapy).
For sports specific injuries your best bet is seeing what is called a C.C.S.P. (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) who has taken extra training to be able to diagnose and treat sports injuries. Better than that is to look at their involvement with sports in the area you are in. Are they working with local athletes? Do they work with any high level teams? Have they done a rotation at the Olympic Training Center? Answering these question will make sure you are in the right place.
Yes it does. I'm head coach for a high school rugby team and I fix a lot of sports injuries .
Yes.
Hello
Best to be evaluated by a chiropractic physician to determine the proper solution and treatment
Great question! There are a lot of factors that need to be considered.
Chiropractic can help athletes recover from injuries, improve their performance, and reduce the chances of new injuries.
Chiropractic care may be able to help aid in healing of sports injury. The only way to know for sure is to have a evaluation by your local chiropractor.
Sports injuries in general, respond great to chiropractic adjustments. Most sports injuries involve joint damage and joint fixations. Our job as chiropractors is to "unlock" those fixations and perform exercises to stabilize the joint.

Chiropractic adjustments help with recovery time, preservation of joint health, and improved sports performance.
Chiropractic is designed to help your body handle physical, chemical and mental stresses. When we adjust you, your body functions better. This allows your body to heal better as well. So yes! Chiropractic can help your body heal from a sports injury.
Yes depending on the injury. If minor then chiropractors can treat/prevent.

Then can also cause injuries if they are not careful.

Consider looking into OMM
Yes.
Heal wouldn’t be the right term to use. Chiropractic care can help manage injuries to reduce pain and increase proper function. It all depends on the injury.
Thank you for your question. Chiropractic care has helped many sports injuries. Multiple professional sports teams have Chiropractors on staff. We help many sports injuries as well. We would need to do an evaluation to determine how we can help.
Depending on your injury....I'm a sports medicine chiropractor so I have a lot of tools in my tool box to work with sports injuries. If you want help then look for a sports medicine chiropractor
