Can teeth fall out during a deep cleaning?

I am a 28 year old female. I wonder if teeth can fall out during a deep cleaning?

No, unless they were very loose before the deep cleaning.
yes
Possibly. The patient's gum disease would have to be so severe that there would very little or no bone left to hold the tooth in the jaw. The tooth would have been extremely loose before.
If teeth are so mobile that they are a real concern of falling out during a deep cleaning, it is too late for any chance of treatment success. It is time to re-evaluate and reconsider more appropriate treatment.
A dentist will evaluate the condition of your teeth to see if there is enough bone support before doing a deep cleaning. Given this evaluation occurs, it would be highly unlikely for a deep cleaning to cause your teeth to fall out. If you have a few very loose teeth, your dentist may inform you that they need to be extracted before the deep cleaning.
