I want to get breast augmentation. I wonder if I can get it under local anesthesia?

Hi dear. I don’t know of any surgeons who do breast augs under local only. But I’ve done many with local and some sedation, so you’re at least asleep. You don’t always need general anesthesia or a tube. I would go with whatever your surgeon is comfortable with and suggests for your particular case.
That’s a better question for the surgeon. It all depends on their techniques and preferences.

It would be nice to get intra venous sedation or twilight anesthesia to supplement the local anesthesia!
