Yes. If good oral hygiene is not maintained by proper regular brushing and flossing, you can get decay under the aligners.
yes you can!!! be sure to keep your teeth very clean while wearing trays and attachments. do not put trays on over food particles. Smiles, Brush and floss many times per day! Laurene
Yes, it is possible but generally if you are maintaining regular visits with your orthodontist they will evaluate for any cavities at your appointments.
If the attachments are bonded properly, and the surface of the enamel is clean when you bond, then NO...cavities cannot form under the attachments.
