Cannabis is a risk! It accumulates in the brain because it is fat soluble. No one has fully studied the long term impact of varying doses--which can impair judgement. BE CAUTIOUS. The safety of citalopram is better studied. At 19 there are likely issues you should discuss with an experienced psychiatrist

Are you able to have an open consult with your prescriber about efficacy of antidepressant and cannabis? Your inquiry is valuable, but best directed towards the medical provider who is prescribing and treating you for the depression. Also, psychotherapy in combination with effective medication and healthy eating habits are known to have more effective results.
While cannabis use can provide moments of calm temporarily, but is not good for mental health in general particularly in long term.
