How long do you wear a compression garment after an arm lift?

Several weeks is ideal
Thank you for your question.

After a brachioplasty (arm lift), I usually recommend that my patient wears the compression sleeves until it feels better to leave them off. That usually takes about 3 weeks. Sometimes it feels good to take them off, but after an hour or so, it will feel better to put it back on. Our bodies are smart. If you listen to what your body is telling you, 90% of the time you will be right. That's how it is will arm sleeves after an arm lift.

All the Best,

In general, a compression garment is worn for approximately 3-6 weeks, however there may be instances where it is necessary for shorter or longer periods of time.

4 to 6 weeks would be ideal.
I usually recommend compression garment use for 3 months after a procedure to allow the majority of the swelling to resolve.

It can vary. Like what your activity is after the operation. But 6 weeks generally will do. Be careful with arm activity and keep them elevated as much as possible. It could be less depending on your activity, etc. Do what you are instructed to do.
Minimum of 4 weeks, though some patients experience swelling for up to two months that will improve with sleeve compression for some part of each 24 hour period.
