How long does it take to fix a bulging disc?

I am a 39 year old female. I want to know how long does it take to fix a bulging disc?

All depend on activity treatment and severity
Using the modalities of acupuncture, massage and herbs will work together to treat your bulging disc. I cannot give you an exact number of sessions needed, but you can see how you feel after a couple of sessions. The amount of time needed will depend on the severity of your bulging disc.
Depends how your body responds to acupuncture and healing process.
I encourage you to book a session with your practitioner of choice to get help with relief. It may take many sessions, also it might not be "curable"
Depend on your illness.
In no way can I answer that question. There may be no "fix" to be had even with conventional methods, but more in the way of pain management. Surgery is often warranted to relieve pressure on the nerves or spinal column. It can go away on its own over time. You may want to see a chiropractor, neurologist or a naturopathic doctor, as they have much more expertise on the subject. Acupuncture can help alleviate pain associated with a bulging disc and reduce swelling around the vertebrae but your best bet is to talk to your PCP about a referral to a specialist. In the meantime, immobilization and the application of ice usually are helpful in quieting the intense pain associated with a slipped disc. Good luck!
It depends of course on what method is used. If you get acupuncture from an acupuncturist who is killed at back pain, it should be better in about 3-8 sessions, or 2-4 weeks. If you get acupoint injection therapy (not to be confused with steroid shots or trigger point injections), it could be done in one session and healed up within a week. We do this routinely in my clinic.

Best wishes to you.

This is a difficult question to answer truthfully because there are so many variables at play in healing damage from a disc bulge. It depends on your health, the severity of the rupture, the skills of your
practitioner, and your consistency with treatment, to name a few. I’ve had patients (about 91%) walk away from the first treatment with immediate relief, and then some who don’t see a change for a while. First off, check around your town who comes highly recommended for this sort of problem (maybe a group page on social media for your city you can ask for recommendations), take a consultation with the practitioner, as personal rapport and comfort do play a hand at results. Secondly, once you find a recommended practitioner with whom you feel a rapport, ensure you are as consistent with treatments as you can afford, try to do at least 4-10 treatments in a row (1-2 a week). All the best to your healing and health!

A bulging disc can have the severity of needing corrective surgery or even a simple adjustment/manual therapy. From my experience minor bulging disc complaints usually resolve within 3-5 office visits and major complaints are usually chronic, requiring at least 8-10 office visits for major relief. Double-check with your primary & specialist to see if alternative medicine would be beneficial for your condition.

Depends on the cause, if it's severe with constant shooting pain down to the leg. That might take longer or may need other procedures. If it's mild to moderate, it might not be 5-10 visits.
Every person is different, so there is no way of knowing how long it takes to fix a bulging disc.
Bulging discs may be corrected in chiropractic care, but acupuncture can help to manage the pain. The time needed to do so is dependent on the patient and how long they have had the condition.
It won't take a long time, two or three weeks. It can be fixed if you use manual therapy; if you do acupuncture treatment, it will need one month.
How long will depend on the severity of the bulge. Sometimes there are temporary lifestyle modifications that will impact healing times, so a patient's ability to make and stick with those changes can also have an effect. We'd also need to consider the symptoms the patient is experiencing. Bulged discs often cause pain, so is the question "How long to fix the bulge" or "How long to get the patient out of pain"? Though it may not seem to be the case, these are two different things as acupuncture typically relieves pain fairly quickly while the patient may be looking at weeks or months to repair the bulge. Short answer: with the information provided, it's very difficult to say how long it might take.
