How long does your face stay swollen after wisdom teeth removal?

I had a wisdom tooth extraction 2 days ago. My face is still swollen. Is it normal?

Swelling after wisdom teeth removal is common and can last for several days; if the swelling persists or worsens, consult your oral surgeon.
Swelling can resolve in as little as a few days and sometimes lasts for 1 to 2 weeks. Any time there is swelling you should report it to your dentist in case there is another reason for the problem, other than normal recovery.
Yes it can take up to a week
Yes. The worst pain and welling actually occurs between days 2-5 after a surgery. It routinely takes 10-14 days to heal from wisdom tooth removal depending on how invasive of a surgical procedure it was.
