How long is nose swollen after rhinoplasty?

I had a rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago. My nose is still swollen. How long is nose swollen after rhinoplasty?

Typically, the nose is noticeably swollen for a few weeks after rhinoplasty. However, there will be some swelling that remains and over the course of a year will slowly go away. The final results are usually apparent around one year after surgery.
It can take up to a year for the finer refinements of rhinoplasty to show. Make sure you keep all your follow up appointments with your surgeon and follow his/her directions exactly.
Usually the nose is swollen for one year, however, this is most recognizable in the first three months. Patience is the key with this kind of swelling.

Initial swelling is significantly reduced within one week. However, patients with thicker oily and olive-type skin will hold on to it much longer sometimes well over a month. On rare occasion, some patients will have chronic swelling that can last for many months.
It takes 3-6 months for the edema to resolve, although you should improve in the next week or two.
