If you have proper anesthesia, there will be no pain
If done correctly there is virtually no pain in root canal therapy.
Root canals are intended to eliminate pain and are highly effective in relieving pain. Most often the tooth is previously infected an may require time to allow the area to heal.
If you are numb enough its not painful at all regardless of tooth type.
Hi, a root canal on any tooth should be painless. You should be numb before the tooth is treated. Afterward, it will likely be sore to touch and tap on or bite on- basically anything that puts any pressure on it. Otherwise, it should be well taken care of with Ibuprofen or Tylenol. Thanks for asking, Hope this helps.
Theoretically, a root canal on any tooth should be painless if you are properly anesthetized. That depends on the skill of the person doing your root canal.
