Get a copy of your perio charting from your dentist. Make sure that it shows pockets that are 5mm or more. You are quite young to be needing a deep cleaning. Get a second opinion in 6 months and bring the perio charting and show it to the doctor. Ask them what they think. You can brush normally, but gently for the first 2 days.
Most 25-year-olds don't need a deep cleaning. In any respect, you can brush normally. There is no reason to delay any brushing.
That night.
Dear Reader,

You can brush your teeth anytime after having a deep cleaning. Your gums may be slightly sore, so just brush gently.

Hope this helps,

Anytime.
With a "deep cleaning "or scale and root planing you would be able to resume daily flossing and brushing that evening before bed.
