Rheumatologist Questions Rheumatologist

I just need some suggestions on what I can do?

I have been having sharp pains in my legs and then after a while, they go numb for a little bit.

Call your primary care office and have an office visit to check this / Good luck!
Workup should include a physical exam after Hytory. If appropriate, consider MRI and/or NCT/EMG.
Are you referring to one leg or both? If you are furring to both is one more than the other? From your legs, that would go back to the lower part of your spine and a simple way is to get an X-ray, the next would be an MRI, a nerve conduction study, or an EMG, depending on your provider and what is found on each one of those studies. Also, a basic chemistry panel to make sure there is not a cause that’s resulting in it that is treatable, i.e., calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium. And the list can go on. I would contact your provider to see what you need to do first and in what order.
I wish you well, and thank you for asking me for your assistance

Be well,
