Is bone grafting necessary for tooth extraction?

No, unless you want an implant. If you might want an implant in the future, then do the graft at the extraction. Cosmetically, there are advantages with proper bone contours. Your dentist is the best one to advise you.
Most of the time, yes. As bone resorbs after extraction, if you need an implant later to replace this tooth.

Hello,

Just depends if you need it or not. You will have to contact your dentist regarding that.
Not always, but if you plan to have a future implant in this site, then it is advisable to have the bone grafting procedure done.
Most of the time, yes. As after extraction bone is lost slowly, it's hard to replace the tooth by placing an implant. Implant can only be placed in adequate amount of bone. Bone grafting procedure provides adequate amount of bone for any implant even if it is planned in the future.
Not necessarily. A bone graft is usually necessary when there is not enough bone to support a dental implant after a tooth extraction. If there is adequate bone, a bone graft should not be necessary.
We typically tell patients that want an implant to replace the tooth to have bone grafted into the extraction site. This increases the chance of having a good lock of bone for the implant to be placed in.
