Is it normal to have stomach pain after endoscopy?

I had an endoscopy yesterday. It hurts now. Is it normal? Should I see a doctor?

The procedure adds air to inflate. Try to pass the gas. If you are constipated it will be harder and more discomfort If the pain is sharp and any other symptoms immediately call your doctor or go to ER.
Sometimes pain can happen after an endoscopy. If pain is mild probably ok to just watch. If associated with fever, chest pain, or vomiting you should see a doctor.
Yes, it can be normal sometimes to have some discomfort following the procedure. This is because air is pumped into the intestines to open them up and allow the endoscopist to see better. However, if the pain is quite severe and your abdomen is hard and tender to the touch then you need to be seen immediately in the emergency room.
Should not hurt after a typical upper endoscopy, but I don't know the details of the test and what was done. You should contact the doctor who performed the endoscopy.
