“Is rinsing with salt water good for your gums?”
I have swollen gums. Is rinsing with salt water good for your gums?

No, the warm salt water is good after surgery. If the gums are swollen you need an exam and most likely a professional dental cleaning.
It won't hurt you, but it also might not help you. The most important thing to do is get a proper diagnosis ASAP, because not all swollen gums are the same, and each specific situation requires specific treatment.

Swollen gums usually indicates an infection. Warm salt water will help clean area and help to some extent. DO it several times a day. It is good for your gums!
