Neurologist advice

After having a brain hemorrhage March of this year, is it safe to travel by plane? I've been pretty stable for the past 7 months until about a month ago. My diastolic pressure elevated to 110. Experienced headaches for several days until my primary physician prescribed hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg 1x day. Headaches has been sporadic since then.

Yes it is safe as long as your blood pressure is well controlled
It probably was safe after being stable for 6 months.  From what you tell me your blood pressure is spiking up again a d after having had a bleed you are at a higher risk of having a other one. The last thing you would want is to have this happen while on a plane or away in unfamiliar places. I suggest you discuss this with your Dr.  and get your blood pressure under control to where your Dr. gives you the green light to fly. Good luck.  Dr. F. Sent from the all new AOL app for Android
