Painful testicle?

My husband is having severe pain in one of his testicles. He's tried ice and heat and has been taking Ibuprofen. Nothing helps. He is a diabetic. What should he do?

Go to the emergency department, primary care physician, urgent care, or a urologist to make sure there’s no torsion of the testicle. And examination ultrasound will do that and give quite a bit of information. Thank you for asking and I wish you and your husband well and safe, holiday season
