Ice chips and clear fluids at this time. Check blood sugar and Blood pressure. Medication may need to be held.
There are many causes for nausea, including those that are not GI related. Taking a careful medical history often leads to the answer. This is not usually done by the ER as they do not have the expertise to work up GI conditions. After three days of vomiting, you are still in an acute stage, so a gastroenteritis could explain it. If the symptoms do not improve in another few days, then seek out the opinion of a good gastroenterologist, one who will take a careful history and not simply perform an EGD, find nothing (which happens frequently), and then take no interest in getting you an answer.
