Lisinopril treats blood pressure whereas Atenolol has different actions (e.g., heart rate and Ruthin and bit on BP), so need to go through it with doc.
There are many different blood pressure (BP) lowering drugs on the market. The target is to get your diastolic BP (the lower figure) under 100 mm Hg and lower your systolic BP (the higher figure) to under 150 mm Hg. Atenolol is a rather unspecific beta blocker and Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor. You should have a talk with your GP about other options, such as Angiotensin II inhibitors, calcium channel blocks and diuretics.

Certainly ATENOLOL belongs to the beta-blockers’ family, and along with its excellent good effects, when used to treat high blood pressure, heart attacks, chest pains, etc., there are side effects too, such as dizziness, lightheadedness, tiredness, nausea…
One never should stop a beta blocker suddenly. The dose should gradually decrease over 1 to 2 weeks, and during this period, it's recommended to decrease the physical activity, too, in the order to decrease strain on the heart. I suggest you see your doctor to know why the atenolol was chosen in the first place - just for your blood pressure or was there another reason?
Hypertension is a disease that needs to be taking seriously because is the cause of multiple organ failure in a long term, more in your case since you are only 36 years old, still young. Please call at your primary Doctor Office and try to do an appointment as soon as possible in an office consultation or via Telemedicine to clarify how you should be taking your blood pressure medication. Try to be adherent to your medication, a healthy diet and exercises, all of then contribute to keep your Blood Pressure under control.
