“What is this on my lip?”
I randomly got a bump on my lip. I’m nervous it’s a cold sore, but I’ve never had one before so I’m not sure. I was eating spicy food so I thought maybe that caused the irritation on my lips. It has gone down since yesterday when it first appeared. What could it be?

Your lip condition is difficult to diagnose from the photo. Cold sores usually present with blisters and are painful. A bacteria may cause a sore area on the lip and many cases resolve on their own. Best to visit a local dermatologist if your condition persists.
