The pain will go away , you have to give time for the teeth to start moving.
As the teeth move during your treatment, they will be sore the entire time. Tylenol and or Ibuprofen can help. Please consult your dentist and doctor.
Tooth soreness is a good sign with Invisalign- it means your teeth are moving. The discomfort should dissipate after a few days but will likely happen with each change of your trays. Don't give up. The Invisalign process will be over before you know it. Good luck!
It’s normal to be sore during the process. Can take Tylenol.
After 3 days it usually starts to subside, but sometimes with the initial aligners it may last a little longer. Within the next few days, the pain should start to subside.
Usually about 5 days total. *00 mg ibuprofen every 4-6 hours. This is just the process of moving the teeth that are surrounded by bone.
Hi There. Thank you for the update. This is very normal, especially in the beginning and first week. The first week is the most challenging, from there you will only notice pressure when you change to a new tray. You're welcome to take over-the-counter Advil/Ibuprofen to assist with any discomfort if necessary. Call the office next week for any new updates.
