“What is the difference between nephrolithiasis and soft tissue calcification?”
My son is 14 years old and his recent X-ray shows a cluster of 3mm just above his left kidney. This could be a representation of soft tissue calcification or nephrolithiasis is what the doctor says and needs to confirm after further reports come in. What is the difference between the two?
