“Can TMJ make chewing difficult?”
I think I have TMJ. I'm having issues chewing, and what I mean is, I can chew but I have to do so slowly. Is this TMJ? Can it make chewing difficult?

Yes. Your inability to chew could well be due to the situation with your TMJ or other problems connected with the joint(s). My advice is go to your dentist for further evaluation and treatment.
Yes, it can. You especially should avoid chewy foods, which will aggravate the joint. You should be keeping a soft diet with heat packs and moisture on the joint a few times a day.

TMJ dysfunction can make chewing difficult or painful. Stay with small bites of soft food until you can see a dentist.
