Can a fever make your eyes burn?

I am a 31 year old male. I have a fever and my eyes have a burning sensation. Can a fever make your eyes burn?

Burning eyes can have several possible causes, ranging from the simple to the complex, and the burning sensation can occur with or without other symptoms such as itching, eye pain, watery eyes or discharge.
Frequently, burning eyes are caused by unavoidable environmental influences, such as strong winds, smog, smoke, dust, mold, pollen, pet dander or high pollen counts. However, similar sensations can be symptoms of a more serious eye problem that requires medical attention. To select appropriate treatment, it's important to first establish the cause (or causes) of your burning eyes.

Yes, a burning sensation in the eyes during a fever is very common and not harmful. You can use a cool compress and some artificial tear drops to soothe your eyes. Try Tylenol 650mg to reduce the fever if you are uncomfortable. More importantly, please get evaluated for the cause of the fever. One concern is viral infection with COVID-19. Please contact your primary care doctor or go to an urgent care center or hospital emergency room if the fever lasts for more than 24 hours or is accompanied by cough and shortness of breath.

Yes. As needed, or desired, use over-the-counter preservative-free lubricating drops for comfort. Some people prefer to refrigerate them.
No, but if you have also have a conjunctivitis (pinkeye), then yes. Fever and conjunctivitis together may be caused by Coronavirus. SO
Not usually unless there is an eye infection
Yes, it's a common symptom. It may also indicate an early conjunctivitis that goes along with a cold.
