Can gum disease spread to other teeth?

I am a 40 year old female. I want to know if gum disease can spread to other teeth?

Absolutely, bacteria never stay put. Your saliva spreads bacteria all around, and allows gum disease and cavities to spread to other teeth. Good luck.

Recent research has shown that gum disease can spread to other teeth and there is a theory that adult gum disease starts at the back of the mouth with wisdom teeth, and then the disease spreads from there. Smoking encourages and accelerates gum disease and peroxide mouthwashes inhibit the causative bacteria

Yes. It usually starts with the multicoated posteriors and left untreated will spread forward to the bicuspids, etc. Get the periodontal care you need if you want to keep your health and keep your teeth. The bacteria can get into your bloodstream and go to artificial values or joints and even into the heart.
Hi, yes it can affect adjacent teeth and cause bone loss.
Hi,

Even if you have gum disease, it mostly affects only the soft tissue, but also the hard tissue which is your teeth and your bone. And only removing the bacteria can stop the progress, so yes, if you do not start taking care of it, it will spread.
Yes
You can have localized gum disease (several teeth) or generalized gum disease (all the teeth).
