Can your toothbrush be used to clean Invisalign?

I am a 21 year old male. I want to know if toothbrush can cut your gums?

You asked two different questions so I'll try to respond to both. It's not likely that you would be able to cut your gums with a toothbrush unless you scrub horizontally for a long time - the proper way to brush is in small circles, and toothbrushes these days are not hard, stiff bristles like some used to be. As for Invisalign, yes, you can brush your aligners with a toothbrush, inside and out. If your aligners get dingy looking and you want to make them clear again, soak them in a diluted bleach solution for 10 minutes and then brush them - they will be sparkly clear.
Yes, your toothbrush can be used to clean Invisalign, and yes, your toothbrush can cut your gums if too much pressure is used.

You must be asking about cutting your gums as a result of your gums bleeding when you brush. Gingivitis, pyorrhea, periodontitis, are all forms of a bacterial infection of the gums. All have one thing in common; the bacteria eat the skin off of the gums. With no skin, the gums bleed easily from the slightest touch of a toothbrush. The best self-help for this is a 360 degree cleaning of every tooth, every day. This means up and down scrubbing with floss between every tooth. It also means making sure all cheek and tongue sides are clean with a toothbrush. Your gums will bleed when doing this. However, with the bacteria removed daily, the gums will begin to grow new skin. With new skin, the bleeding will decrease and then stop. You also need a dental visit to remove hard tarter deposits which may be present. The book, GROWING A HEALTHY CHILD, SECRETS FROM A WISE OLD DOC, has the best information about the details of cleaning your teeth. It also discusses how gum disease is a contagious disease. Do a favor to those close to you and do not ignore this. Study the book for the best information on this subject.
Yes, your toothbrush can cut your gums if you brush too hard or have a coarse/hard bristled toothbrush. You should always brush with two fingers worth of pressure. Think of it more like sweeping rather than scrubbing a stain off. Invest in a sonicare toothbrush and water pik in addition to flossing and you will have much healthier gums and teeth and minimize the damage done to them.
