“Does anxiety worsen with age?”
My 66 year old mother has always had anxiety but it has gotten worse. Does anxiety worsen with age?

If it's not treated, it may happen or can be some other medical condition.
Generalized anxiety disorder may increase with aging. This is particularly true if anxiety is from underlying dementia disorder.
